Welcome to the new Tift County Employees for the 2024-2025 school year! For the 2024-2025 school year, Tift County Schools enhanced the orientation process for new employees. In addition to the long standing tradition of new employees attending a one day session focused on orientation to Business Operations processes (e.g., Technology tools and access, Leave Entry, Benefits & Compensation, etc.), the Teaching & Learning team partnered with the HR team to develop two additional days of training for all new teachers to Tift. This training will ensure our new teachers are aware of the instruction and assessment resources and tools within Tift and will help our new teachers hit the ground running!
Starting this year, students will enter the parking lot at the driveway on Kent Road that leads up to the guard house. This new route is designed to improve traffic flow on Kent Road. All other entrances will remain the same.
For the 2024-2025 school year, student drivers will be assigned parking spaces at TCHS. Additionally, for 24-25, seniors were given the opportunity to personalize their parking spaces for a nominal fee (the fee covers the cost to repaint the blacktop at the conclusion of the school year so a new group of seniors have a clean slate).
Seniors have been busy painting their parking spaces to personalize their assigned space.
