Electric Buses

Electric Bus

You may have noticed some new school buses transporting students that don't have the traditional Blue Bird logo but instead they have a Green bird with an extension cord. These are the new electric buses that were added to the fleet for this school year. These 5 buses were obtained by the system at no cost. According to John May, Transportation Director, the electric buses can run approximately 100 miles on a charge. Keep an eye out for these eco friendly buses on the road.
